VOICE CONTROL is when you "SAY" something in order to get someone or something to take the "Action" that you want.
The goal with using DRAGON is to learn how to use Your VOICE to "MAKE" Dragon...
📌 TYPE WORDS, LETTERS, PUNCTUATIONS,
NUMBERS, SYMBOLS, SENTENCES, PARAGRAPHS
📌 FORMAT those words so your pages look how you want
📌 CHANGE your mind... EDIT by Voice
📌 CORRECT mistakes (Yours or Dragon's) such that Dragon learns from the way you did the correction.
📌 TEACH DRAGONnew words and repeatable actions
📌 OPEN, USE & CLOSE PROGRAMS 📌 SWITCH BETWEEN PROGRAMS even... 📌 TURN OFF THE COMPUTER
in other words...
Do Most Everything You Do, Everyday, on Your Computer ... Just Do It By VOICE and most of the time, Do It FASTER!
ALL of that is Voice Control. That is the sole goal of using Dragon. The additional reward is it is often More Efficient.
VOICE RECOGNITION is different!!!
True Voice Recognition is when the software Recognizes Your Voice... (and in security cases, Knows NOT to obey someone else's Voice.)
This is NOT DRAGON's Job... This is NOT Even in DRAGON's abilities...
If anyone else says the commands, DRAGON will do the same actions.
Dragon might type out the words being sung on the radio,
Dragon might type out the words being spoken at the next desk.
Dragon will type out the words being said in a conversation or a meeting but it cannot separate "who" says them. (Thus Dragon is not good for accurately typing out the notes of a meeting.) If Dragon can "hear" it... Dragon will type it or do it... no matter who says it.
